Jerry R. Kaufman, CPA, JD, LL.M. (Taxation),

Jerry is also a South Florida native and is a graduate of the University of Miami, the University of Miami School of Law, and the University of Miami School of Law Masters in Taxation Program. Prior to the establishment of Sarbey Kaufman, LLC, he was a shareholder and head of the tax department of two large regional firms and also worked for a regional and a national CPA firm.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Florida Bar, a current member and a Past President of the North Dade/South Broward Estate Planning Council, and a Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami. Mr. Kaufman supervises the Firm's tax activities and has extensive experience in all areas of taxation. He has lectured on various tax topics to the FICPA Dade County Chapter, the Greater Miami Tax Institute, and various other organizations. He has also authored several tax articles and co-authored an AICPA self-study course. In addition to being a CPA and a tax attorney, Jerry is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a 17th Judicial Circuit Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator.
